Kirk Snyder, DVM
Dr. Snyder is a Lexington, Kentucky native. He grew up on a farm and has loved and cared for animals all his life. He pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky and received his degree in veterinary medicine in 1969 from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. He founded the Richmond Road Veterinary Clinic in 1981. Dr. Snyder has a special interest in the internal medicine of cats and dogs.
Dr. Snyder and his wife, Carol, have two grown sons, Milt and Scott, along with their families. They also have four cats, Oliver, Oscar, Albert, and Rain. In his free time, Dr. Snyder enjoys American history, wildlife, art, and domestic travel.

Kevin Smith, DVM
Dr. Smith is a graduate of Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Kentucky. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, with special interests in surgery and dentistry.
Dr. Smith is originally from Louisville, Kentucky. He has two German shorthair pointers, Bailey and Woody. In his free time, he enjoys running, reading, biking, hiking, and UK athletics. |
